Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 egg white
2 1/2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
8-9 cups shelled pecan halves
Preparation

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix well with spoon.
Add pecans; stir until evenly coated.
Spread in a greased 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 50-55 minutes. Remove to waxed paper and break apart while still warm; cool. Store in an airtight container.
Yield 9-10 cups.
