Pone Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. meal
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. molasses
    salt to taste
    boiling water
Preparation
    Scald meal thoroughly.
    Add sugar, then flour and molasses, stirring all the time, using boiling water to thin until thin enough to pour easily.
    Bake in greased pan for 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
