Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 well beaten egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter until fluffy and beat in sugar.
Add egg; beat again. Add milk and beat.
Add vanilla and beat.
Mix dry items together in a bowl and add them to other mixture.
Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours, until dough is firm.
