Traditional Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks butter soften
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 large egg
    1 tbsp grated lemon peel
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
    1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
    Cream butter in a large bowl; add sugar.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Beat in egg, lemon peel, vanilla until blended well.
    Beat in water, few drops at a time, only until dough starts to come away from sides.
    Shape dough into large flat disc.
    Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Roll dough on lightly floured surface.
    Cut with cookie cutter; place on butter cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
