Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 bananas
2/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 2/3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Mash the bananas well.
Cream the shortening and sugar until light.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Stir in the mashed bananas.
Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the liquid mixture, stirring lightly and quickly and mixing only until blended.
Pour into 2 bread loaf pans (9 x 5-inch) and bake at 350\u00b0
for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
