Roll-Out Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. powdered sugar
    milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing after each addition.
    Dough will be stiff. Blend last dough by hand.
    Do not chill.
    Divide dough into 2 balls.
    On floured surface, roll each ball into a circle about 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut out cookies and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 6 to 7 minutes.
    Bake on top rack.
