Ingredients

1 box brown sugar
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. white syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts
Preparation

Cook sugar, salt, syrup, butter and milk to soft boil stage (238\u00b0 on candy thermometer). Cool without stirring to 110\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Add vanilla and beat until it holds its shape. Add nuts. Mix and then pour onto a buttered platter. When completely cooled, cut into squares.
