Strawberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. mashed strawberries
1 egg
3 tsp. melted shortening
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg with strawberries and shortening.
Sift all dry ingredients into strawberry mixture and stir until just moistened.
Add chopped nuts.
