Sugar Wafer Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c confectioners sugar
    1 c butter
    1 c sugar
    1 c oil
    2 eggs
    4 c + 4 T flour
    1 t cream of tartar
    1 t baking soda
    1 t salt
    1 t vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together the first 4 ingredients, add eggs and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients.
    Refrigerate at least 1 hr.
    To bake, pinch off about 1 t of dough, roll into a ball and place on a greased cookie sheet.
    Press each cookie into a circle with the bottom of a glass or cookie press dipped into sugar.
    Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes.
    Do not let them get too brown.
    Cool completely.
    Keep in airtight container.
    These will keep for up to four weeks and they get better with age.
