Banana Freeze - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
1 c. low-fat milk
1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk powder
2 tsp. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
garnish with sliced bananas dipped in candy sprinkles
Preparation

Thaw bananas slightly at room temperature, 5 to 10 minutes; cut into pieces.
Place milk, milk powder, brown sugar and vanilla extract in blender.
With blender on low speed, add frozen banana pieces, processing until fruit begins to blend into mixture.
Increase speed to high and process until smooth.
Makes 3 cups.
One cup serving equals 165 calories; 2 grams fat, 1 mg. cholesterol and 1/2 serving of fruit.
