Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts (walnuts)
Preparation

Mix sugar, egg, vanilla and lemon rind.
Gradually add flour mixture (flour, salt and baking powder).
Mix well.
Add walnuts. Roll into a log.
Wrap in foil; refrigerate 24 hours.
Slice as thin as possible.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
