Campfire Venison Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 large onion, diced
    4 stalks celery
    2 bay leaves
    1 lb. carrots
    6 potatoes
Preparation
    Brown meat in bacon grease or bacon.
    Add onions, celery, seasoned salt and pepper.
    Cover with desired amount of water and cook 1 hour.
    Add bay leaves.
    Check to see when meat is tender. Add carrots and cook a bit before adding potatoes.
    Then add potatoes and cook until tender.
    Thicken with flour or cornstarch to make gravy.
    Best when cooked in cast-iron Dutch oven!
