Cheese Bread With A Twist - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 egg (at room temperature)
    2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation
    In mixer bowl, combine 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Heat water, milk and butter until lukewarm.
    Add to dry ingredients; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
    Add egg to 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup flour; beat 2 minutes at high speed.
    Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough; knead until smooth and elastic.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
