Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white or 2 Tbsp. egg substitute
1 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. miniature chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix sugars, margarine, vanilla and egg white in large bowl.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir in chips and nuts (optional).
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown at 375\u00b0.
Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
