Stained Glass Window Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
crushed hard candies, sorted by color
aluminum foil

Preparation

In a large bowl, beat butter with hand mixer until soft. Then add the sugar and beat until fluffy. Add milk and vanilla and blend, gradually beat in flour. Form dough into a disc, wrap and chill one hour. Roll the chilled dough out on lightly floured surface. Use lightly floured cookie cutter to cut shapes and a small round cookie cutter to cut holes. Place the shapes on a foil lined cookie sheet and add
about a half a teaspoon of crushed candy to the holes. Bake 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes, cool 10 minutes.
