Ingredients

2 c. sugar
8 Tbsp. oleo
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

In large saucepan combine sugar, oleo, milk and cocoa.
Heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Let cool one minute.
Stir in peanut butter, vanilla and salt; mix well.
Add oatmeal, nuts and coconut.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool until hardened.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
