Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Melt shortening in Pyrex baking dish.
    Scald meal with boiling water.
    Mix until mushy.
    Add sweet milk and then eggs.
    Mix well, then pour in shortening.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
