Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Add sifted dry ingredients. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Roll out 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured cloth or board. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
