Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
2 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
vanilla bean, split open lengthwise and scrape out seed or 1 Tbsp. vanilla liquid
Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together into a dough and set aside to cool about 30 minutes.
(Refrigerate if too sticky.)
Use a cookie press (use star plate).
Fill cookie press and squirt out in long strips on table.
Cut into 3-inch lengths and form rings.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake in slow oven until golden brown. Makes 150.
