Cherry-Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped (1 c.)
Preparation

Lightly grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
