Craig'S Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. ground walnut meats
    1 3/4 c. cake flour
    2 egg whites
    candied cherries
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together. Add egg yolks and beat. Next, add nuts and flour to mixture. Stir.
    Chill mixture.
    Form into small balls. Beat egg whites and put a dab on top of each cookie. Top with piece of cherry.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
