Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
2 eggs
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating well until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, beating well.
Add flour, mixing well.
Stir in lemon extract; drop batter by level teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Yields about 5 dozen.
