Peach Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced fresh peaches
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Puree in blender the peaches and 6 tablespoons sugar; set aside.
    Combine and set aside the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.
    Cream together 1 1/2 cups sugar and shortening.
    Add and mix well the eggs.
    Add peach puree and dry ingredients and mix well until the ingredients are moistened. Stir in vanilla extract and pecans.
    Spoon batter into 2 well-greased and floured pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
