Danish Wedding Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    4 1/2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    2 c. flour
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. walnuts, ground or finely chopped
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    With mixer, cream together butter and sugar.
    Gradually add flour and salt.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix until smooth.
    Beat in nuts. Shape into balls approximately 1/2 inch diameter.
    Gently flatten partially with the back of a spoon.
    (I keep back of spoon lightly coated with flour.)
    Do not flatten too much.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
    Do not brown.
    When moderately cool, roll in sifted powdered sugar.
