Ingredients

1 2/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cream margarine and brown sugar well. Blend in egg, vanilla and dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool.
