Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter, softened
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. dates, finely cut
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
shredded coconut
Preparation

Mix butter, eggs, sugar and dates together in saucepan.
Cook slowly; stir occasionally.
When mixture leaves the pan something like scrambled eggs, remove from heat.
Add the Rice Krispies and nuts.
Stir well and drop or shape into balls.
Roll in shredded coconut.
