Raisin Bran Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. All Bran cereal
1 c. raisins or currants
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift the first 4 ingredients several times to mix thoroughly. Add the All Bran, then the raisins and nuts. Stir in buttermilk. Bake in 2
(8 x 4-inch) loaf pans and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
