Cheese Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. soft butter
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the cheese and butter together.
    Add flour and salt and mix until dough is smooth and well blended.
    Shape dough into rolls, about 1-inch in diameter.
    Chill 2 hours, until dough is firm.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Slice the dough into thin rounds. Place on ungreased baking sheets at least 1-inch apart.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes about 8 dozen.
