All-Bran Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. lukewarm water
1 c. all-bran cereal
2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
2 yeast cakes
6 c. flour
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Put shortening, sugar, salt and all-bran into a bowl of boiling water.
Stir until fat melts.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add well beaten eggs and yeast that has been soaked in lukewarm water until it is dissolved.
Add flour; beat well.
Knead real good the first time and don't knead again after it rises.
Just punch down and place in loaf pans.
When you let it rise the first time, brush the top with butter.
Bake at 420\u00b0 for 20 minutes until done.
(I bake at 350\u00b0.)
