Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
2/3 c. white sugar
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat egg whites well; add vanilla and continue beating until very firm.
Add sugar gradually beating until stiff.
Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased aluminum foil on cookie sheet.
Put in oven.
Turn off oven at once.
Leave in oven 1 hour until oven cools.
