Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    5 Tbsp. sour milk
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. very ripe bananas, mashed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar; add well mashed bananas. Beat in eggs, salt, soda, flour, sour milk and vanilla; mix well. Add nuts and stir only enough to mix through mixture.
    Pour into 2 small or 1 large loaf pan.
    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
