Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    2 c. raw apples, chopped
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs and buttermilk. Mix soda, salt, cinnamon and flour.
    Add to sugar mixture.
    Add apples and stir all together with a mixer.
    Put in a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Top with mixture of 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
