Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. dates, chopped
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Angel Flake coconut or powdered sugar
Preparation

Melt oleo in a large black skillet.
Add sugar, egg and dates. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.
Shape into balls while still hot and roll in coconut or powdered sugar.
