Mayfair Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    2 well beaten eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    dash of cinnamon
    dash of salt
    pinch of baking soda
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add well beaten eggs.
    Add flour with cinnamon and salt.
    Dissolve baking soda in 1 tablespoon milk and add to mixture.
    Add chopped pecans.
    Drop by small spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in slow 325\u00b0 oven until light brown.
