Ingredients

1 lb. grated almonds
1/2 lb. unsweetened chocolate, grated or 1 (8 oz.) box liquid chocolate
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation

Beat the egg whites until they are stiff and stand in peaks. Set aside.
Mix the chocolate and almonds.
Add the sugar and spices.
Blend well.
Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets, flatten.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 5 1/4 minutes.
