Navajo Squaw Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. salt
1 c. water (maybe more)
lard or oil for deep frying (lard gives a flavor to the bread)
Preparation

Combine ingredients and mix into a smooth dough.
Pinch off small balls of dough and pat or slap over palms of your hands into a large circle that looks like a pancake.
Deep fry in hot, melted lard or oil.
