Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 (16 oz.) box plus 1 c. dark brown sugar
    5 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter until fluffy.
    Add sugar and cream well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Fold in flavorings and nuts.
    Bake in well-greased tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
