Homemade Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box powdered sugar
    1 stick butter
    6-8 T. cocoa
    salt
    1 t. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan.
    Add cocoa and stir over med. heat for a minute or two.
    Remove from heat and add powdered sugar a little at a time, adding a little bit of hot water when it gets thick. Continue until all sugar is used.
    Beat a few strokes until desired consistency.
    Add pinch of salt and 1 t. vanilla.
    Use about half of the above for one layer cake.
    Also add nuts if desired.
