Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brownulated sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. vegetable shortening
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Dip a table fork in flour and use to flatten cookies to 2-inch size in crisscross design.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes, until set but not hard.
    Makes about 72 cookies.
