Ingredients

3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
white sugar
walnut or pecan halves
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Mix all ingredients except white sugar and nuts. Shape into balls the size of walnuts and dip in white sugar.
Place on cookie sheet, sugared side up.
Top with walnut or pecan half. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
