Irish Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. raisins (soaked in hot water, then drained)
2 1/2 Tbsp. caraway seed
3 heaping tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
sugar and cinnamon (equal parts)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix flour, sugar, salt and butter with fingers.
Add raisins, caraway seed and baking powder; mix again. Form a well in the mixture and pour eggs and milk into it.
Fold until mixture is completely folded in.
Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
Sprinkle with equal parts of sugar and cinnamon.
Bake for 1 hour.
Cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan.
