Mother'S Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. self-rising flour or plain with 1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in bananas.
    Mix well.
    Add nuts.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to mixture. Stir well.
    Pour into greased loaf pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
