Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until foamy, add sugar and cream of tartar and beat until very stiff.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by spoon onto foil-lined cookie sheet.
Put in oven, turn oven off and do not open until morning.
Makes about 30 cookies.
