Flautas With Avocado Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. corn tortillas (15 per pkg.)
1 lb. cooked, shredded pot roast (salted)
oil for deep frying
Preparation

Heat on high a cup or two of oil in skillet for deep frying, or use a deep fryer.
When hot, lower it and keep it on medium for later use.
Next, soften tortillas slightly by putting them in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.
(Spread them on a paper towel; do not stack them on top of each other.)
Fill each tortilla with 2 tablespoons of the shredded meat; roll it up.
If necessary, use a toothpick to hold it together.
Slowly drop a tortilla roll in the skillet; fry for 2 minutes.
(If oil does not cover entire tortilla roll, flip it and fry the other side for an additional 2 minutes.)
Tortilla roll should be crispy.
Place the tortilla rolls (Flautas, pronounced flou-tas) in the oven to keep them warm while you prepare the dip.
