Peach Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. scalded milk
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 cake compressed yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
6 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1 1/2 c. dried peaches, cooked and chopped
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm.
