Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo, softened
1 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

In medium bowl with mixer at medium speed, cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and flour; continue beating until well mixed.
Stir in nuts.
Cover.
Chill dough for 1 hour.
