Cutout Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    5 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1/4 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and gradually add to egg mixture. Cover dough and chill. Roll to desired thickness on floured board with powdered sugar only.
    Also dip cookie cutters in powdered sugar to cut out cookies.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
