Dilly Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 unbeaten egg
Preparation
    Combine sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, baking soda and egg with cottage cheese.
    Add yeast mixture to cottage cheese mixture and 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour.
    Beat to make dough stiff.
    Let rise until light and double in size (50 to 60 minutes).
    Stir down, turn into well-greased bread loaf pan or casserole dish.
    Let rise 35 to 40 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Brush with butter; sprinkle with salt.
