Zucchini Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. zucchini
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of salt
    dash of nutmeg
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    dough for double crust pie
Preparation
    Peel zucchini; slice lengthwise.
    Remove seeds.
    Slice as you would slice apples.
    Add small amount of water; bring to a boil. Simmer until tender; drain well and cool.
    Add remaining ingredients; place in an unbaked 9-inch pie crust.
    Cover with top crust; flute edges to seal.
    Cut slits in top crust for steam to escape.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 40 to 50 minutes. (Tastes like apple pie.)
