Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter (1 stick)
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. apple jelly
    2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1/2 c. wine
    4 c. nuts (1 1/2 lb.)
    1 lb. raisins
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. pineapple
    1/2 tsp. each: allspice, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and jelly.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add 1/2 cup flour and spices.
    Dredge chopped fruit in 1/2 cup flour and add remaining flour to mixture.
    Add wine to batter. Gradually add soda to buttermilk, then add both to batter.
    Add fruit to batter.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased pan.
    Cook at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
